The atomization device (100) forms a buffer chamber (C1) between the atomization module (3) and the puncture (111) in the liquid storage unit (11), the capacity of the buffer chamber (C1) being less than the volume of the liquid (M). The liquid storage unit (11) can be pressed so as to change the internal pressure of the liquid storage unit (11), and force a portion of the liquid (M) to flow from the puncture (111) into the buffer chamber (C1) to be atomized by the atomization module (3).
