Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to the field of petrochemical engineering, and discloses a catalyst for preparing propylene through conversion of methyl tert-butyl ether, a preparation method of the catalyst and a method for preparing propylene through conversion of methyl tert-butyl ether. The method comprises the following steps: a raw material containing methyl tert-butyl ether is contacted with a catalyst, wherein the catalyst comprises a zeolite molecular sieve, a binder and a modification component, and based on the total weight of the catalyst, the content of the zeolite molecular sieve is 40-90 wt%, the content of the binder is 10-30 wt%, and the content of the modification component is 0.5-10 wt%. According to the method, the problem of excessive production of MTBE can be solved, and the yield of the important chemical raw material propylene is increased.
