Embodiments of the invention provide a fan for a dust collector and the dust collector. The fan comprises an impeller and a shell, wherein the impeller comprises a first blade set, a second blade set and a wheel disc, and the first blade set and the second blade set are arranged at the two opposite sides of the wheel disc in the axial direction respectively; an air outlet is arranged in the circumferential direction of the shell, air inlets are arranged in the two opposite sides of the shell in the axial direction respectively, the impeller is rotationally arranged in the shell, and the two air inlets are communicated with an air outlet of a dust box of the dust collector; and the wheel disc drives the first blade set and the second blade set to rotate together, airflow from the air outlet of the dust box enters the shell from the two air inlets and then is exhausted from the air outlet, so that under the condition that a pressure ratio of the fan is not changed, the air volume of the fan can be effectively i
