Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a truck half shaft forging process in order to solve the problems that an existing half shaft forging process is complex, low in machining efficiency, large in material waste and high in manufacturing cost. The truck half shaft forging process comprises the following steps: step 1, selecting a bar with the diameter the same as that of a rod portion of a finished half shaft,carrying out blanking to obtain a section; step 2, heating one end of the section; step 3, adopting a friction press or a horizontal forging machine for material gathering forming, and carrying out upsetting until the spline size is achieved; step 4, repeating the step 2 and the step 3, forging and upsetting the other end of the section to obtain a half shaft blank; step 5, carrying out cold rolling on a spline; step 6, carrying out quenching and tempering heat treatment; and step 7, carrying out shot blasting.
