description | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push-button switch wherein an operation of a push-button handle is easy while an arc accompanying opening/closing of a contact is not seen from the exterior and a switch device using the push-button switch. SOLUTION: A push-button handle 30 is attached, so as to be able to make turn motion, on an upper surface of a cover 10 forming a switch body by being assembled on a body 1. An opening/closing element 40 pivotally supported on the cover 10 rotatably is rotated by pushingly operating the push-button handle 30. When the opening/closing element 40 rotates, an opening/closing body 42 rotatably held in the body 1 via a coil spring 41 is rotated. As a result, a movable contact 47 secured to the opening/closing body 42 makes contact with a fixed contact 46 secured to a terminal board 44. Because the push-button handle 30 is formed so as to have dimensions such that a projected image on an upper surface of the switch body has substantially the same size as that of the upper surface of the switch body, operation is made easier and, along with this, an arc is not seen from the exterior. |
