The copolymer has one or more structural units (a) derived from a hydrophobic monomer having a specific structure and one or more structural units (b) derived from a hydrophilic monomer represented by the following general formula (2) as essential structural units, and has a weight-average molecularweight of 20000 to 110000. 本发明的课题是提供一种具有弹力感的新型共聚物。该共聚物具有从具有特定结构的疏水性单体衍生的一种或两种以上的结构单元(a)、和从由下述通式(2)表示的亲水性单体衍生的一种或两种以上的结构单元(b)作为必需结构单元，重均分子量为20000～110000。
