The method comprises the following steps: adding iridium trichloride hydrate, a pH regulator, acetylacetone and water into a reactor, heating and dissolving; introducing inert gas into the dissolved solution, and bubbling to remove air in the solution; adding a reducing agent into the solution; adding an organic solvent into the solution, stirring, and bubbling to remove air in the solution; after the reaction is finished, separating by using a separating funnel to obtain an organic phase, and washing with water to remove salt; purifying the organic phase by column chromatography, carrying out rotary evaporation, and recrystallizing by methanol to obtain a crystal substance; and drying the crystal substance to obtain the product.
