The grooving method comprises the steps that boulders large in mass are crushed into small stone; upstream and downstream leakage passages on the axis of the landslide dam diaphragm wall are blocked; grooving construction of the landslide dam diaphragm wall is carried out and comprises the step that drilling constructionis carried out with the axis of the landslide dam diaphragm wall as the datum so as to form a preliminary groove hole; in the process of forming the preliminary groove hole through drilling construction, whether a serious fracture leakage formation exists or not is detected; and if it is detected that the serious fracture leakage formation exists, a plugging material is placed on the leakage passages through a pneumatic combined plugging method so that the leakage passages are blocked rapidly, and then drilling construction continues so as to form a final hole.
