Zusammenfassung: | The invention provides a solid base catalyst for synthesizing hydroxyl pivaldehyde, and applications thereof, wherein the catalyst has a chemical formula of MgO-SnO2, and the catalytic performance isoptimal when a mass ratio of MgO to SnO2 is 1:1. According to the present invention, the preparation method is a sol-gel method, and gel aging is carried out at a normal temperature, such that the problem of high-temperature aging in a closed container in the existing preparation method is solved, the preparation conditions are mild, and the operation of high-temperature aging in a closed container is avoided; the reaction for producing hydroxyl pivaldehyde through the catalyst catalytic aldol condensation is carried out in a fixed bed reactor, wherein the conversion rate of isobutyraldehyde and the selectivity of hydroxyl pivaldehyde are both higher than 95%; the preparation reaction process of the catalyst has characteristics of simple operation, mild in reaction conditions and low reaction temperature; and with |
