description The invention discloses a method for realizing a Glaser coupling reaction through sunlight catalysis. The method mainly comprises the following steps that an alcohol compound is taken as a solvent, under the normal temperature and normal pressure conditions, a Cu(II) salt serves as a catalyst, a base compound is added, continuous stirring is conducted under sunlight irradiation, and thus a self-coupling reaction of a phenylacetylene compound can be achieved.
