Emergency lighting apparatus for elevators

Emergency lamps, which activate on loss of power to elevators, are provided with protective covers. However, an emergency lamp may be damaged when struck with an object that has a hard, slender tip (such as an umbrella) out of mischief. The purpose of the present invention is to provide an emergency lighting apparatus for elevators in which an emergency lamp is less likely to sustain damage even when struck at with a pointed object out of mischief. In order to address the problem, the emergency lighting apparatus for elevators changes the illumination direction of the emergency lamp by reflecting the light projected by the emergency lamp with a reflector.
