The invention provides a device for installing a cable terminal stress cone. The device comprises an upper pressing plate, a middle baffle plate, an expander and a base plate; the middle of the base plate is provided with a butt-joint protruding portion which is in butt-joint with the bottom recess of the stress cone; a base plate through hole which allows the expander to pass through is formed inthe butt-joint protruding portion; two ends of the base plate are respectively connected with connecting screw rods; two ends of the middle baffle plate and two ends of the upper pressing plate are stringed to the connecting screw rods; the middle baffle plate and the upper pressing plate are respectively in sliding fit with the connecting screw rods; the middle baffle plate is located between the upper pressing plate and the base plate; and the expander is connected with the upper pressing plate.
