Zusammenfassung:The present invention is added by a simple means when cells are to be cryopreserved and improves the survival rate of the cells. According to the present invention, cells are stored after 1 vol% of acomposition containing 0.01-20 wt% of sophorose lipid is added thereto during a period between six hours before and immediately before cryopreservation of the cells. This composition is capable of reducing frost damage to cells, and thereby improves cell survival rate and enables storage of cells without using DMSO and blood serum.
