Zusammenfassung:The purpose of the present invention is to provide an insulating resin composition for direct-current power cables which has excellent extrudability, is less apt to sag, has satisfactory scorch resistance, and has excellent extrusion stability and which can give insulating layers that generate little water by secondary decomposition and stably exhibit satisfactory direct-current electrical properties. The insulating resin composition for direct-current power cables of the present invention comprises: (A) low density polyethylene which has a complex viscosity [eta]*100, as measured at 130 DEG Cand a frequency of 100 rad/s, of 600-300 Pa.s and in which the ratio of the complex viscosity [eta]*0.1, as measured at 130 DEG C and a frequency of 0.1 rad/s, to the complex viscosity [eta]*100, [eta]*0.1/[eta]*100, is 4 or higher; (B) a modified polyethylene; and (C) a stabilizer comprising a mixture of a hindered-phenol antioxidant and a thioether antioxidant.
