According to the multimedia signal transmission method provided by the invention, by performing the IP processing on the multimedia signal, the multimedia signal is delivered and transmitted according to the IP address. The transmission process is limited only by the capacity of a switch. Once the switch has sufficient capacity, the stable transmission of the multimedia signal can be guaranteed. Furthermore, for the multimedia signals containing the IP identifier, it is easier to perform troubleshooting when signal loss occurs. The invention further provides a multimedia signal transmission system, a computer readable storage medium, and a network switch, which have the beneficial effects described above
