The method comprises the following steps of (1) establishing a formation model and designing a transmitting and receiving antenna combination mode, (2) selecting a transient electromagnetic wave logging pulse source excitationmode and emitting electric current to a formation, turning off a current source after excitation, and measuring a pure secondary field in the formation after turn-off, (3) obtaining time domain induced electromotive force, (4) constructing a transient electromagnetic signal definition mode and extracting information of a formation conductivity and a formation boundary, and (5) detecting a boundaryby transient electromagnetic wave logging under different distance, dip angle and formation resistivity conditions.
