The detection rate of the MLBP feature of the invention is increased by 3.5% and 2.1% respectively compared with the detection rate of the uniform mode LBP and the basic mode LBP. Compared with the traditional pedestrian detection method, the speed of extracting HOG and MLBP features after pre-detection by HWEBING algorithm is 5.5 times faster than that of extracting HOG and MLBP features directly. The combinationof the HWEBING algorithm and HOG-MLBP features achieves better pedestrian detection results.
