The method includes the following steps: outputting video recording verification information, and obtaining a video recorded by a user on a client page to read the recording verification information, wherein the video includes image data of face actions specified by a video recording rule when the user reads the recording verification information; performing living body verification on user images in the video according to the face actions; and verifying an identity of the user according to the image data after the living body verification passes, and confirming identity authentication of the user to be successful if the identity verification passes.
