The invention discloses an installation package testing method and device, equipment and a computer-readable storage medium. The method includes: acquiring a to-be-tested installation package, and acquiring resource files in the to-be-tested installation package; determining large files, of which file sizes are larger than a preset threshold, from the acquired resource files, and determining recurring redundant files from the acquired resource files; and generating a test report according to the determined large files and redundant files.
