Preparation and application of glucose-modified peanut shell adsorbent

The invention discloses preparation and application of a glucose-modified peanut shell adsorbent. The preparation comprises the following steps of firstly, cleaning the peanut shell, drying, and crushing to certain particle size by a crusher; fetching out the peanut shell powder, adding into a mixed solution of glucose and diluted sulfuric acid, and modifying; after reaction is completed, filtering the peanut shell, washing to the neutral property, and drying, so as to obtain the peanut shell adsorbent; adding the peanut shell adsorbent into simulation wastewater containing methylene blue, performing adsorption experiment, measuring the concentration of methylene blue in the residual liquid, and calculating the removal rate, so as to reflect the adsorption effect of the adsorbent.
