User index statistical method and server

The embodiment of the invention discloses a user index statistical method and a server, wherein the method comprises the steps that: a server generates at least one user access bitmap table corresponding to at least one user, wherein the Nth user access bitmap table in the at least one user access bitmap table includes information of the access behaviour of the Nth user within each time unit in the pre-set time period; the access behaviour is that the Nth user accesses a target application or the Nth user does not access the target application; the at least one user is a user accessing the target application historically; the Nth user is one in the at least one user; the server counts user indexes corresponding to the target application according to the at least one user access bitmap table; and the user indexes include at least one of the number of weekly loss users, the number of weekly return users, the number of daily active users, the number of weekly active users and the number of monthly active users.
