The radix puerariae and purple sweet potato composite handmade yoghourt ismainly prepared from raw materials of radix puerariae powder, purple sweet potato powder, pure milk, cane sugar, and mixed strains consisting of streptococcus thermophilus and lactobacillus bulgaricus. The preparation method comprises the following steps of adding boiling water to the radix puerariae powder and the purple sweet potato powder, and performing brewing so as to obtain radix puerariaeand purple sweet potato paste; and performing cooling, adding the pure milk and the cane sugar, and performing technologies of homogenization, sterilization, inoculation, fermentation and after-ripening, so as to obtain the radix puerariae and purple sweet potato composite handmade yoghourt.
