Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a MRE vibration damper applicable to wide-frequency excitation. The MRE vibration damper comprises a piston, a sleeve and an MRE material layer. The piston comprises a piston shaft and a piston body. A piston shaft is wound by a winding coil. The sleeve is used as a magnet yoke of the winding coil, and the MRE material layer is vulcanized between the piston body and the sleeve. The lower edge of the sleeve is extended outwards to form a fixing edge, the fixing edge is provided with a screw hole and a bolt for being connected with a foundation, the top of the piston body is connected with a supporting plate through a guide rod, the supporting plate is provided with a screw hole and a bolt so as to be connected with a damping platform, and both the piston shaft and the piston body are in a cylindrical shape.
