The invention discloses a high instantaneous energy transformation power supply of an island and a power supply method thereof. The power supply comprises two parallel power supply loops. A diesel generator set provides high-quality power for a load by a redundant multi-level modular bidirectional rapid energy transformation structure and a transformer; and the diesel generator set provides power directly for a full-controlled solid-state switch and the transformer. In a short-term overload mode, a super capacitor and a lead-carbon battery provided energy jointly, so that the instantaneous energy output capability of the power supply is enhanced; a redundant midpoint clamped three-level bidirectional conversion topology and a thermal standby control technique of a redundant module are put forward and the extra instantaneous energy circuit is added by triggering the paralleled redundant module; with a virtual diesel engine synchronous control technology, the two parallel power supply loops output voltages with
