The invention relates to an aluminum alloy cutting fluid and a preparation method thereof. The aluminum alloy cutting fluid is characterized by being prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 15-30% of naphthenic oil, 5-8% of borate containing sulfur and nitrogen, 3-5% of potassium borate, 2-4% of triethanolamine oleate, 4-8% of a non-ionic surfactant, 2-4% of an anionic surfactant, 1-3% of a corrosion inhibitor, 1-3% of an antirust agent, 0.5-2% of a stabilizer, 0.1-1.0% of a defoaming agent, 0.1-0.5% of a composite fungicide and the balance of deionized water.
