The invention relates to a mountain landslide prediction method, which comprises the following steps: drawing a mountain contour map; measuring the soil thickness of the mountain, and drawing a mountain bedrock contour map; according to the mountain contour map and the mountain bedrock contour map, predicting a mountain landslide place, wherein the bedrock gradient at the place changes between 25.0 and 45.0 degrees, and the soil thickness is over 15cm; measuring the infiltration rate of the soil on the predicted mountain landslide place; and predicting the mountain landslide time.
