Electrical terminal and circuit board assembly containing the same

The present disclosure includes a circuit board assembly that may include a circuit board that may include a first side and a second side opposite from the first side. The circuit board assembly may include a female terminal inserted in the first side of the circuit board and an electrical component that may be disposed at the second side. The first electrical component may include a first male terminal extending through the circuit board into the first female terminal. A female electrical terminal may include an outer wall defining an internal space and a pair of prongs extending from the outer wall and at least partially within the internal space.
