Tracking method and tracking apparatus for panoramic video moving direction

The invention discloses a tracking method and a tracking apparatus for a panoramic video moving direction. The method is performed through the following steps: determining the moving direction of a camera by conducting pixel tracking to the right lower part of a panoramic video of a spherical model from a cloud terminal or a server terminal, obtaining data on the moving direction, and storing the obtained data on the moving direction in the server terminal or the cloud terminal separately. When a request is made from a user's terminal for a video file containing the data on the moving direction, the server terminal or the cloud terminal sends the video data to the user's terminal in accordance to the request and transmits the data on the moving direction at the same time so that the current playing visual angle can be tuned.
