The reminding mode switching method comprises a step of obtaining the current movement state of the mobile terminal, a step of judging whether a current movement state is in accordance with a preset walking state or not, and a step of switching the mobile terminal to a second reminding mode from a first reminding mode if so, wherein the vibration and/or ringtone of the second reminding mode are larger than that of the first reminding mode.
