The device comprises an oxidation unit, a methylbenzene flash tower, a high-boiling-off tower, a benzaldehyde light component removal tower and a benzaldehyde rectifying tower, wherein the oxidation unit is used for continuously carrying out a reaction between methylbenzene and air under the action of a catalyst to form tail gas and an oxidation liquid; the methylbenzene flash tower is communicated with the bottom of the oxidation unit; the high-boiling-off tower is communicated with the bottom of the methylbenzene flash tower; the benzaldehyde light component removal tower is communicated with the top of the high-boiling-off tower; and the benzaldehyde rectifying tower is communicated with the bottom of the benzaldehyde light component removal tower. The invention also provides a method for producing benzaldehyde.
