Zusammenfassung:	An automobile and an air cooling power battery system therefor are disclosed. The air cooling power battery system comprises a safety protection apparatus, wherein the safety protection apparatus is used for judging operating states of the battery according to working state information of the operating battery in the battery system; the working state information is obtained by an information collection unit and processed by an information processing unit; when an abnormal operation of the battery is judged, an information judging unit controls an air door to switch from an open state into a closed state to enable the air inlet of the battery system to switch from an open state into a closed state so as to enable a passenger compartment to be insulated from the air inlet and to prevent toxic and harmful substances generated by the battery system from entering the passenger compartment through a pipeline, so that the safety of the automobile in use is improved; and when a normal operation of the battery is judg
