The invention provides an allocation method and device of network address translation (NAT) resources. The allocation method includes: obtaining the current resource allocation condition of a public network address; and allocating NAT resources of a user corresponding to a current service according to preset rules and based on the current resource allocation condition, the NAT resources including a public network address and/or port that the current service needs to use. By adoption of the abovementioned technical scheme provided by the invention, the technical problem of a perfect NAT resource allocation scheme in related technologies is solved, a relatively good NAT resource allocation scheme is provided, and an allocation mode is simple and efficient.
