Data caching system and method

The invention discloses a data caching system and method. The data caching system comprises a data caching region, a data template customizing assembly, a data set management assembly and a caching management assembly, wherein the data template customizing assembly is used for performing one-to-one correspondence of data sets and report forms in the data caching region and unique identification codes of graphic data templates; the data set management assembly is used for managing data templates and the data sets and searching corresponding data sets in the data caching region through the identification codes according to the report forms and graphic data requested by a client side; and the caching management assembly is used for controlling the size and the life cycle of the data caching region and controlling the life cycles of the report forms and the graphic data by setting the maximal cache, the longest survival time and the longest idle time. The data caching system and method disclosed by the invention have the benefits that: the data reading and calculating time is reduced, such that the display speeds of the report forms and graphs are increased; the time of data requests between an application service and a database service is reduced; the data calculation time is reduced; and thus, the burden of a server is reduced.
