The method for improving the slag permeation resistance of the refractory aluminum-chromium material comprises the steps that Mn oxide is added into slag in a high-temperature furnace, the slag is modified by Mn oxide under the high temperature, and the modified slag is made to react with Cr2O3 and Al2O3 in the aluminum-chromium material to form MnCrAl2O4 and MnAl2O4 spinel structure layers, wherein the content of Mn in the modified slag under the working temperature is at least 15wt%, the content of (Mn+Fe+Mg) in the modified slag under the working temperature is at least 25wt%, and Mn oxide is one or more of MnO, MnO2, Mn2O3 and Mn3O4. By means of the method, permeation of the slag is reduced; the slag permeation resistance of the refractory aluminum-chromium material is improved, and the service life of the refractory aluminum-chromium material is prolonged.
