A roller (1) is rotationally connected with a base frame (2) through shaft rods at the two ends of the roller (1). The periphery of the lower end of the hopper (9) is attached to the upper portion of the roller (1) and connected with the upper portion of the roller (1) in a slidable mode. The hopper (9) is fixedly connected with the base frame (2) through supports (3). A plurality of rows of arc-shaped grooves (4) are formed in the periphery of the roller (1) in the length direction of the roller (1), and the row distance between the multiple rows of grooves (4) ranges from 18 cm to 25 cm, the distance between the grooves (4) in each row ranges from 12 cm to 20 cm, and the depth of the grooves (4) ranges from 28 cm to 50 cm; the size of openings in the upper ends of the grooves (4) ranges from 20 mm to 40 mm, and walking wheels (5)/a walking wheel (5) are/is arranged at the portions/portion, on the left side and/or the right side of the roller (1), of the base frame (2). The garlic planting device is simple in structure and high in automation degree, can effectively improve working efficiency and can guarantee the plant distance and the line distance.
