Zusammenfassung:The invention provides a valve-timing control apparatus for an internal combustion engine, devised to suppress the concentrated stress that is caused at a connecting spot between a connector terminal and a pigtail harness due to the vibration of an engine. The valve-timing control apparatus includes a connector portion (28b) disposed in a retaining member (28); and the pigtail harness (33) of which one end (33a) is connected to a power-feeding brush, and a fixing portion of another end portion (33b) is connected with a terminal (31a) of a connector through a cylindrical crimp contact (34). The pigtail harness bends along the outer circumferential surface (35a) of a cylindrical guide portion (35) protruding from the outside surface of a bottom wall (28g) of the brush retaining portion (28a). The other end portion extends substantially in a linear arrangement from the fixing portion to a bending portion along the axial direction of the crimp contact.
