The extraction method comprises: 1) extracting fresh or dried Taxus chinensis branches and leaves with an aqueous solution to obtain an extraction solution, wherein the aqueous solution comprises 10-500 ppm of 5-ALA, the 10-DAB III content in the fresh Taxus chinensis branches and leaves is more than or equal to 1500 ppm, the paclitaxel content is more than or equal to 200 ppm, the 10-DAB III content in the dried Taxus chinensis branches and leaves is more than or equal to 5000 ppm, and the paclitaxel content is more than or equal to 300 ppm; 2) filtering the extraction solution through a ceramic membrane, and filtering through a nano-filtration membrane; and 3) adsorbing with a reverse phase macroporous adsorption resin, carrying out gradient elution to obtain a 10-DAB III chromatography liquid segment and/or paclitaxel chromatography liquid segment, and carrying out post-treatment to obtain the 10-DAB III crude product and/or paclitaxel crude product. According to the present invention, the extraction method is particularly suitable for extracting the Taxus chinensis having the high 10-DAB III content and the high paclitaxel content.
