description The invention discloses a method and a device for preventing mis-plugging of connectors. The method comprises the following steps: constructing different planar icons adopting simple line structures specific to different connector pairs, wherein each connector pair corresponds to one planar icon; partitioning the planar icons into two parts in order to construct two identification bodies, wherein the identification bodies constructed by partitioning different planar icons are different; configuring the identification bodies constructed by partitioning the same planar icon at specific positions on outer surfaces of two connectors of the connector pairs respectively in order that every two identification bodies can be combined into the planar icons after connection of the two connectors of the connector pairs; and identifying the connectors which can be matched based on the identification bodies. Compared with the prior art, the method and the device according to the invention have the advantages that matched connectors can be identified easily, thereby easily and effectively preventing mis-plugging of the connectors.
