Data processing method and system

The invention discloses a data flow control side determination method and system. The data flow control side determination method comprises the steps that test data are respectively transmitted to an access side and a master server through a client side periodically; first response information returned after the access side receives the test data and second response information returned after the master server receives the test data are received; first response time required for returning of the first response information and second response time required for returning of the second response information are respectively recorded; first response time and second response time are respectively compared with the preset time threshold, first response time and second response time are mutually compared, and a data flow control side is determined according to the comparison result, wherein the control side is one of the client side, the access side and the master server. With application of the scheme, the data flow control side can be dynamically adjusted according to the network load so that broadband utilization rate and data flow processing efficiency can be enhanced.
