Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses an image display method and device. The method comprises the steps: obtaining a first display image; carrying out the statistics of the distribution of gray scale information of the first display image, so as to determine a ratio which is obtained through the comparison of the gray scale of the first display image with at least one gray scale threshold value; and determining a first Gamma curve of the first display image according to the ratio. Through the above mode, the method and device can enable the distribution graph of different gray scales to be displayed at the optimal brightness.
