Automatic Mura detection method and system

The invention provides an automatic Mura detection method. The method comprises the steps that a database is built, and the method for building the JND value database comprises the steps of acquiring images of multiple reference display panels by means of an image imaging device, dividing the image of each reference display panel into multiple areas, receiving an JND observed value of each area of the corresponding reference display panel, conducting normal distribution statistical treatment on the JND observed values and storing the images of the areas of the multiple reference display panels and the corresponding reference JND values; an image of a display panel to be tested is acquired by means of the image imaging device; the image of the display panel to be tested is divided into multiple areas; a reference JND value of the image which most approximates to the image of the display panel to be tested in the database is called to serve as an actual JND value. The invention further provides an automatic Mura detection system. According to the automatic Mura detection method and system, the automatic detection of Mura is achieved by calling the reference JND value, and the accuracy and efficiency are improved.
