The four-machine hoisting mounting method comprises the following steps that the lower portions of every two of four travelling cranes are connected with an auxiliary hanging beam, the lower portions of the two auxiliary hanging beams are connected with a main hanging beam, and the main hanging beam is provided with a plurality of hanging points; the hanging points on the main hanging beam are selected according to the weight of equipment to be hoisted, and lifting lugs on the equipment to be hoisted are connected with the hanging points on the main hanging beam through a plurality of steel wire ropes; and the four travelling cranes are controlled to conduct coupling at the same time, the equipment to be hoisted is made to slowly leave the ground, and after the equipment is hoisted to a mounting position, the equipment slowly falls back, and other equipment is assembled.
