Safety management system and method

The invention provides a safety management system and a method. The system comprises a plurality of first signal acquisition units, a plurality of second signal acquisition units, a signal processing unit and a plurality of local alarm units. Each first signal acquisition unit collects physiological parameters of one of a plurality of users. Each second signal acquisition unit collects information related to an environment where the one of the plurality of users is located. The signal processing unit at least partially calculates a fatigue value of the corresponding user in the plurality of users based on the physiological parameters. Through using the fatigue value and according to a first predetermined strategy and/or through using the information related to the environment and a second predetermined strategy, a control signal is generated. Each local alarm unit responds to the corresponding control signal so as to emit local alarm. According to an enforcement mode of the system and the method, aiming at an industrial environment, a high-reliability safety system with a simple structure, a reasonable design, complete functions and convenient operation can be provided so that a loophole in the industrial field safety management system is filled.
