Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a device comprising at least one first portion (1) for detecting an electrical defect arising in a power grid, and a second portion (2) comprising at least one switch (5) connecting said power grid to a power supply source (4), the first portion (1) comprising at least one reflectometric detection system capable of being coupled with the power grid. Said system detects and analyzes impedance changes arising in the power grid, a signal being sent by said system to turn on the switch (5) when a detected impedance change is considered by said system to be an electrical defect.
