The resin is prepared by the following substances including, by weight, 90-100 parts of pentaerythritol acrolein resin, 4-8 parts of ionic liquid toughening agents and 1-3 parts of catalysts. The ionic liquid toughening type pentaerythritol acrolein resin prepared and obtained through preprocessing, batching, mixing, vacuum processing, pouring and heating curing has the higher mechanical strength and better toughness, and has the good adaptability for the environment such as temperature shock and high temperature.
