description The present invention discloses an intelligent goods distribution method which comprises: a first step of acquiring identification codes which goods carry; a second step of acquiring classification information of the goods according to the identification codes and partitioning goods spaces for storing the goods; and a third step of indicating the goods spaces to send out position prompting information so as to guide placement of the goods. The present invention also discloses an intelligent goods distribution system which comprises at least one code reader, at least one goods shelf and at least one prompter, wherein each code reader is used for reading out the identification codes which the goods carry and acquiring the classification information of the goods according to the identification codes; a plurality of goods spaces for storing the goods are formed in each goods shelf; and each prompter is used for receiving signals from the code readers and displaying the position information of the goods spaces corresponding to the goods. According to the present invention, the goods to be distributed are identified by the identification codes, an order is subjected to dynamic optimal distribution according to the classification information of the goods in the order and an operator is prompted by an indicating lamp; and the problems of low manual operation efficiency and high error probability in the link of distributing goods according to the order in the current e-commerce are solved.
