The method comprises the following steps of: the server obtains a cell phone number and position information of a mobile terminal; the server obtains a region of a user of the mobile terminal according to the cell phone number and the position information of the mobile terminal; the server obtains water quality information of the region of the user and determines the service life of the filter element in the water purifier according to the water quality information; the server obtains current time of the filter element in the water purifier and use time of a new filter element, and calculates use time of the filter element in the water purifier according to the current time and the use time of the new filter element; and the server determines residual time of the filter element according to the service life and use time of the filter element, and pushes the information to the mobile terminal. According to the consumption condition evaluation method for the filter element in the water purifier, disclosed by the embodiment of the present invention, the user can conveniently acquire the consumption condition of the filter element in time.
