Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a substrate unit capable of positioning a lead relative to a substrate and automatically jointing the lead to the substrate and an electrochemical battery cell. The substrate unit 2 comprises a lead 40A exposing a core 42 from an insulating cover 43 and a substrate 20 connecting the core 42 of the lead 40A, wherein the substrate 20 comprises and a lead receiving portion 30A which has an inner surface 32 and is formed through slotting in the periphery 20f means and receiving the end portion 41 of the insulating cover 43, and a pair of bosses 27 connecting the anode joint and cathode joint of an electrochemical battery. In the lead 40A, the insulating cover 43 is received in the lead receiving portion 30A.
