The interlamellar spacing of the stearic acid/kaolinite intercalation complex is greatly improved to about 4.2nm, the interlamellar spacing of the sodium stearate/kaolinite intercalation complex is improved to 5.17nm, and a transmission electron microscopy analysis result shows that parts of kaolinite lamellas are curled.
