Method and terminal for quickly finding user information in social network

An embodiment of the invention discloses a method and a terminal for quickly finding user information in a social network. The method includes: in response to a user's tag setting request, displaying a tag selection interface; in response to the user's tag selection, storing a tag that the user selects; if the user's request of finding same or similar tags is detected, sending a number of the tag to a server so that the server can find user information having the tag the same as or similar to the user, through the number of the tag; receiving the user information having the tag the same as or similar to the user, fed back by the server, and displaying the user information having the tag the same as or similar to the user, on a display interface according to preset rules.
